THE STATION SESSIONS – A PLATFORM FOR NEW MUSIC

Live from St Pancras International

Ten up and coming artists to perform at St Pancras International throughout July in unique musical showcases

New ‘Station Sessions’ offer a brand new platform for musicians – and confirm St Pancras International’s status as a Destination Station

Artists to perform to thousands of people throughout the month.

Every Thursday evening this July St Pancras International will be hosting showcases from some of the UK’s best unsigned music artists.

In a time of rapid expansion and change within the music industry, St Pancras International and High Speed 1 have teamed up with Syllabus to give new musicians the chance to perform underneath the iconic Barlow Shed during the station’s busiest hours.

‘The Station Sessions’ will provide a one of a kind setting for emerging artists to achieve great exposure – with thousands of commuters travelling through the station each evening – and will take place between 6.30pm and 7.30pm every Thursday evening during July in The Arcade in St Pancras International.

Paul Chapman, managing director of High Speed 1:

“Music at St Pancras International is always well received by both domestic and international travellers and those simply visiting the station itself. St Pancras International continues to be a unique station - more about staying and enjoying than it is about leaving."

Gideon Chain, managing director of Syllabus:

“The restoration of St Pancras International has made it a perfect location for new music discovery. The Station Sessions not only provide new musicians with much-needed exposure but also give the public the chance to wind down from work whilst listening to some of the best new music out there, free of charge”.
