High Speed 1 is this country's first true high-speed line. But it also serves four impressive international stations at Ashford, Ebbsfleet, Stratford and St Pancras.
The brief for the design of these stations was always to keep open a wide range of commercial opportunities inside and out. This, after all, is a railway that is delivering regeneration worth twice as much as the capital cost of HS1.

EBBSFLEET INTERNATIONAL
Situated near Dartford, Ebbsfleet International is just 17 minutes away from St Pancras International on HS1, and is opening up new travel opportunities for people living in north Kent. It will also dramatically stimulate local development and regeneration.

STRATFORD INTERNATIONAL
The station is a platform for creating Stratford City - the largest single mixed-use urban regeneration project in Europe, and was instrumental in London winning the bid to host the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

ST. PANCRAS INTERNATIONAL
St Pancras International, together with King's Cross, is Europe's largest passenger interchange and a true destination station. Over 50 million passengers will pass through these sites every year, on a par with London's busiest airports.
